Common Questions

Foot Care, Clearly Explained

Find answers to our most frequently asked questions about in-home foot and nail care.

Who can book your routine foot care services?

Our routine foot care is available to older adults, hospice patients, individuals with limited mobility, and anyone who needs help maintaining healthy feet at home. Caregivers and family members may also arrange appointments on behalf of their loved ones.

What areas do you serve?

We provide in-home visits throughout Anchorage and the Mat-Su Borough. Additional travel or area visits are arranged in advance. If you’re unsure whether your home or care facility is within our service area, please contact us to confirm.

What does a routine foot care visit include?

A typical visit includes a basic foot assessment, toenail trimming and reduction, gentle callus and corn reductions, ingrown toenail care. Routine foot care is designed to keep feet comfortable, reduce pain, and prevent problems from developing over time.

Do I need a doctor’s referral for routine foot care?

No referral is required. While we do welcome referrals from nurses, podiatrists, physical therapists, and other healthcare providers, anyone can schedule routine foot care directly with us.

Do you accept insurance?

We do not work with insurance so that we can spend more time on quality care instead of focusing on insurer's rules and billing restrictions. This provides you with straightforward pricing and a visit that is built around your needs with no surprises.

How often should I schedule routine foot care?

Most clients benefit from routine visits every 6–8 weeks, though we can adjust the frequency based on individual needs. Regular care helps maintain comfort, hygiene, and mobility.
