Mobile Foot Care Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide gentle routine foot and nail care for clients in home and care settings.
  • Trim and file toenails safely and hygienically.
  • Help clients feel comfortable, respected, and cared for during each visit.
  • Observe and document basic foot health concerns according to Sole Wellness protocols.
  • Maintain clean tools, supplies, and infection-control practices.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, families, caregivers, and care teams when appropriate.
  • Travel reliably to appointments across the Anchorage and Mat-Su service area.

Position Overview

Sole Wellness is a mobile foot care service focused on comfort, dignity, and preventive care. Many of our clients have difficulty caring for their own feet due to age, mobility limitations, health conditions, or life circumstances. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meaningful one-on-one care and understands how small acts of service can make a big difference in someone’s daily life.

As a Mobile Foot Care Specialist, you’ll visit clients where they live and provide routine foot and nail care in a calm, professional, and respectful way. You’ll follow Sole Wellness care protocols, maintain accurate visit notes, and help clients feel safe, heard, and supported.

Experience working with older adults, hospice clients, or people with mobility challenges is helpful. Training on Sole Wellness standards, tools, documentation, and visit procedures will be provided.

In-home foot care.
Provide routine nail trimming, filing, and basic foot hygiene services in homes and care settings.

Client comfort.
Create a calm, respectful experience for clients who may be nervous, sensitive, or unable to easily access traditional care.

Clear communication.
Coordinate professionally with clients, families, caregivers, and care teams when needed.

Reliable documentation.
Maintain visit notes and follow Sole Wellness protocols for safety, cleanliness, and continuity of care.

Applicants must be able to travel within Anchorage and Mat-Su Borough. Prior experience with seniors or in healthcare is preferred. Training is provided for all protocols and equipment.
